ExxonMobil Sees Favorable Trends Continuing in 2011

ExxonMobil Chemical officials say momentum from a strong 2010 should carry through 2011. “The outlook for 2011-2012 is positive and we expect solid growth,” says ExxonMobil Chemical president and CEO Stephen Pryor. Petrochemical demand is likely to grow at a GDP-plus-3% rate globally in 2011, he says. “We feel pretty confident about the demand side,” Pryor said in an interview at the Gulf Petrochemical and Chemical Association meeting in Dubai last month.
