Dow Boosts Capacity for Polyols

Dow Polyurethanes says it plans to add 130 million lbs/year of specialty mix polyols capability at its manufacturing facility at Freeport, TX. The additional capacity is scheduled to come onstream in early 2009 and “will support growing demand for end-use polyurethanes (PU) products and polyurethane systems formulations in North America,” the company says.
