Cyanco to Build Sodium Cyanide Plant at Ascend’s TX Facility

Ascend Performance Materials and Cyanco Holding Corporation (Winnemucca, NV) say that Cyanco will build a new sodium cyanide manufacturing facility at Ascend’s Chocolate Bayou facility near Alvin, TX. The Cyanco plant will be owned by Cyanco but operated and maintained by Ascend. Construction is slated to begin this year and production is expected to begin in the second half of 2012.
