Celanese Ups Acetate Prices

Celanese says it will increase the price of emulsion polymers on October 1, or as contracts allow. Acrylic emulsions will increase by 5 cts/lb in the Americas and €100/m.t. in Europe, Africa and the Mideast. Vinyl acetate ethylene will increase by 3 cts/lb in the Americas, €50/m.t. in Europe, Africa and the Mideast, RMB 400/m.t. in China and $50/m.t. in Asia.
