CPChem Moves Up Restart Date

Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) will restart one of its ethylene units at Port Arthur, TX around April 28 after the unit went down on April 7 for maintenance. The company originally expected the outage to last about eight weeks, but has shortened that timeline to about three weeks, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
