Celanese says it increased the price of acetic acid, acetic anhydride, vinyl acetate monomer (VAM), and ethyl acetate on March 1, or as contracts allow. Acetic acid increased by $50/m.t. in Asia, and acetic anhydride increased by €60/m.t. in Europe.
