Basic Chemicals Price Watch

Dow Chemical says it will increase the price of select grades of low density polyethylene (LDPE) in North America and South America on October 1, or as contracts allow. LDPE-based specialty compounds, including flame retardant and low smoke- zero halogen products, will increase by 19 cts/lb.
