BHP Billiton Delays Potash Expansion Project

Kloppers: Prep work continues despite delay. BHP Billiton (Melbourne) says it will delay major expansion projects because of rising production costs and subdued market conditions. The company recently reported its first annual profit fall in three years, saying that no other major project approvals are expected over the next year, including for its Jansen potash project in Saskatchewan.
