BASF and Dow Open HPPO Plant

BASF and Dow Chemical say that their hydrogen peroxide-to-propylene oxide (HPPO) joint venture at Antwerp has started up and is “running stably.” The equally owned jv is the largest commercial-scale propylene oxide (PO) plant and the first based on novel HPPO technology developed jointly by BASF and Dow.
