Asian ethylene, propylene prices trend downward despite outages

Steam cracker outages are tightening ethylene supply in Asia, but prices in the region are likely to continue falling, according to IHS Chemical’s Market Advisory Service: Asia Light Olefins Monthly. Spot material shipped from Europe has reduced price pressure, and derivative markets are weak, IHS Chemical analysts say.
