Asia capro prices set to rise

Asian demand for nylon-6 chip is not very strong, but interest in buying feedstock caprolactam will probably remain robust, says IHS Chemical’s Market Advisory Service: Global Nylon Fibers & Feedstocks. Most regional nylon-6 producers hold low inventories of caprolactam, benzene prices are on the rise, and Chinese New Year is nearing, the report says.
