The company produces a variety of specialty intermediates at its Victoria and Orange facilities, while the LaPorte plant has the capacity to produce about 240 million lbs/year of BDO; 190 million lbs/year of tetrahydrofuran (THF); and about 90 million lbs/year of polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMEG). The company says capital investments will be made in safety and environmental projects, as well as production efficiencies and infrastructure renewal...
