The CW75 Index was flat for the week ending October 23. A mostly positive start to the third-quarter chemical industry earnings season and retreating oil prices, helped the CW75 to rebound during the latter part of the week, analysts say. Basic chemical shares rose by about 1%. Diversified chemical shares fell 1.3%, and specialty chemical stocks were flat. A.
