The CW75 rose by 10% for the week ending February 21, slightly ahead of broader market indexes. Basic chemical shares increased 5%; specialty chemicals, 1%; and diversified chemical stocks were flat. Mosaic topped the leaders’ list on news that Banc of America Securities (New York) upgraded the stock from neutral to buy because the firm is upbeat about Mosaic’s Saskatchewan mines and phosphate export prices.
