The CW75 Index declined 2% for the week ending January 10, trailing broader U.S. and global indexes. The Standard and Poor’s 500 index was essentially flat, and the Morgan Stanley global composite declined slightly less than 1%. Basic chemical stocks declined 4%, while diversified chemical makers dropped 1.5%, and specialty chemical makers fell 0.5%.
