The CW75 index fell 6% for the week ended October 28, ahead of the Morgan Stanley global composite index, which tumbled 8.2%, and trailing the S&P 500 index, which dipped 1.5%. Basic chemical stocks fell 8.5%, diversified stocks dwindled 4.4%, and specialty stocks declined.5%. For the week, only eight companies posted gains, 60 companies declined, and seven were flat.
