Fourth-Quarter Earnings Are Mixed

Fourth-quarter 2006 earnings were mixed among chemical companies listed in the CW100. Basic, diversified, and specialty chemical producers say lower raw material and energy costs, as well as higher selling prices in some businesses, partially offset weak demand in the U.S. automotive and housing markets.
