The CW 75 rose 3.4% for the week ended January 18, outpacing broader markets including the Morgan Stanley global composite and Standard and Poor’s 500, which rose 2.7% and 1.6%, respectively. Basic chemical shares jumped 5.4%; diversified chemical stocks, 2.8%; and specialty chemical shares, 1.9%. H.B.
