CW75 Stock Performance

The decline in global stock markets forced the CW75 Index down 3% for the week ending February 28, in line with broader market indexes, including the Morgan Stanley global composite and the Standard and Poor’s 500. Stocks had recovered slightly by CW press time. Basic chemical stocks fell 4%; diversified chemical shares, 2%; and specialty chemical stocks, 3%.
