CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 index declined 0.2% for the week ended 2 October, lagging the S&P 500, which rose 0.3%. The MSCI World Index, however, posted a wider loss, at 0.6%. Basic chemical shares rose 2.1%, diversified shares declined 0.8% and specialty stocks were down 0.6%. American Vanguard posted the biggest gain for the week, at 9.2%, followed by Methanex and Innospec, with gains of 7.1% and 6.1%, respectively. MEMC posted the biggest decline for the week, at 10.3%. Omnova and H.B. Fuller also posted big losses, at 10.1% and 9.7% respectively. MEMC fell last Monday...
