CW75 Stock Performance

The CW75 index rose 3.7% for the week ended June 12, outpacing the MSCI World Index and the S&P 500, which rose 2.9% and 3%, respectively. Basic chemical shares rose 2.4%, diversified shares increased 4.4% and specialty stocks rose 3.5%. MEMC, Albany Molecular and Methanex were among the biggest gainers, with increases of 18.2%, 10.8%, and 8.5%, respectively. A. Schulman posted the biggest decline for the week, at 9.4%, followed by Lanxess and Georgia Gulf, with losses of 7.9% and 5.8%, respectively.
