CW75 Stock Performance

The CW75 index rose 2.6% for the week ended January 3, outpacing the MSCI World Index and the S&P 500, which rose 1.9% and 0.9%, respectively.Basic chemical shares rose 3%, diversified companies rose 3.1% and specialty stocks increased 1.3%. Wacker Chemie posted the biggest gain for the week, rising 13.4% on speculation about consolidation in the solar space and as an index of German manufacturing activity beat estimates.
