CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 index declined 6.2% for the week ended November 22, lagging the MSCI World and the S&P 500 indexes, which fell 5.4% and 5.6%, respectively. Basic chemical shares fell 7.8%, diversified shares fell 6.2% and specialty stocks fell 4.4%. Only two companies posted share price gains for the week. Wacker Chemie shares were up 4% as it recovered some of losses from share price declines in late October. Valspar gained 1.1% on a stronger-than-expected earnings report on November 21.
