CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 Index fell 5.2% for the week ended September 6 as weakness in global stock markets carried over from August into early September. The MSCI World Index and the Standard & Poor’s 500 declined 5.7% and 3.9%, respectively. Basic chemical shares fell 4.5%. Diversified chemical stocks fell 7.5%, and specialty chemical shares declined 3.1%. Cambrex rose 1.2% for the week after a 7.7% gain on September 6.
