CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 Index finished flat for the week ended May 3. The week had a strong start due to positive earnings and news that U.S. forces had killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. The market fell at the end of the week, however, on concerns about potential retaliation for bin Laden’s death and ongoing sovereign debt problems in Europe. The Morgan Stanley global composite rose 1.2%, and the Standard & Poor’s 500 increased 1%. Basic chemical shares fell 3.3%.
