CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 Index fell 1.8% for the week ended April 12, slightly outpacing broader markets including the Morgan Stanley global composite and the Standard & Poor’s 500. The stock market fell as a result of concerns that high oil prices will stall global economic growth, as well as a lackluster start to the first-quarter earnings season with a weak earnings report from Alcoa.
