CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 Index rose 2.3% for the week ended March 22. The Morgan Stanley global composite and the Standard & Poor’s 500 rose 3% and 1%, respectively. The stock market fell at the close of the week because of concerns about rising oil prices following political unrest. Basic chemical shares jumped 4.6%; diversified chemical shares rose 2.2%; and specialty chemical stocks increased 1.7%. Fifty-seven stocks rose, four were flat, and 14 fell for the week.
