CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 rose 1.3% for the week ended October 5, in line with broader market indexes. The stock market finished up on positive news from the U.S. services sector, and on news that the Bank of Japan cut rates. Basic chemical stocks increased 3%; diversified chemical shares rose 2.1%; and specialty chemical stocks were up 1.1%. Fifty-four companies’ stock prices increased, eight were flat, and 13 fell.
