CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 was flat for the week ended August 17, outpacing the Morgan Stanley global composite and the Standard and Poor’s 500, which fell 2.3% and 2.5%, respectively. The stock market fell on concerns about the slowing global economy and weak housing data from the U.S. Commerce Department. Basic chemical shares were flat, diversified chemical stocks fell 2.8%, and specialty chemical shares declined 1.6%. Sixteen companies rose, seven were flat, and 52 fell.
