CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 Index fell 2.5% for the week ending May 11. The Morgan Stanley global composite and the Standard and Poor’s 500 fell 2.3% and 1.5%, respectively. The U.S. market plunged on May 6 for reasons financial regulators said they could not attribute to a single event. However, global markets rallied on May 10 on news of the European Union’s bailout plan for Greece. Basic chemical stocks fell 2.9%, diversified chemical shares declined 2%, and specialty chemical stocks fell 2.7%. Thirteen companies rose, four were flat, and 58 were down for the week...
