CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 gained 6% for the week ended August 4, outperforming the Morgan Stanley global composite and the S&P 500 indexes, which gained 3% and 2.7% respectively. It was the fourth consecutive weekly gain for chemical stocks. Basic chemical shares were up 4%, diversified shares added 8.5% and specialty stocks gained 5.2%. Sixty-five companies posted gains for the week, eight posted losses, and two held essentially flat.
