CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 index dropped 8.1% for the week of March 3, in line with the Morgan Stanley global composite index, which also fell 8.1%, but slightly outpacing the S&P 500 index which dropped 9.9%. Basic chemical shares slipped 6%, diversified shares lost 8.7%, and specialty stocks fell 8.4%. Only five companies posted gains for the week, with 70 posting losses. Mosaic posted the biggest gain, only 3.3%, followed by Nova Chemicals with a 3.2% gain. Shares of Compass Minerals rose 3.1%, on rumors that K+S (Kassel, Germany) may be considering a bid to buy the firm...
