CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 index rose 2.6% for the week ended 11 December, outpacing the MSCI World Index and the S&P 500, which rose 1.2% and 1.5%, respectively. Basic chemical shares rose 3.3%, diversified shares increased 2.9%, and specialty stocks were up 1.4%. LyondellBasell Industries posted the biggest gain for the week, at 8.6%, followed by MEMC and Chemtura, with gains of 7% and 6.8%, respectively.
