CW75 Stock Performance

The CW75 index rose 4.4% for the week ended April 17, outpacing both the MSCI World Index and the S&P 500, which rose 2.2% and 2.4%, respectively. Basic chemical shares rose 3.3%, diversified shares rose 5.4% and specialty stocks were up 3.7%. MEMC posted the biggest gain for the week at 12%, followed by Cytec and Celanese, with gains of 11.2% and 10.8% respectively.
