UK contract manufacturer expands solvents capacity

Chemoxy International (Middlesbrough, UK) will increase capacity at its Billingham, UK, site by more than 30% by building a new plant, the company announced. The expansion forms part of a €7-million ($9.5 million) expansion being carried out by Chemoxy with support from the UK government’s regional growth fund. A new special steel reactor and distillation column were installed at Billingham in April and commissioning of the new plant is expected in July 2014.
