UK chemical road tanker firm changes hands

Bulk logistics and transportation company Suttons Group (Widnes, UK) says it has acquired bulk chemical road transport company Imperial Tankers (Stockton-on-Tees, UK) from Hargreaves Services (Durham, UK). Hargreaves says that the cash transaction is valued at £26.9 million. Imperial Tankers generated profit after tax of about £1.6 million on revenue of about £29.7 million in the year ended 31 May 2014, Hargreaves says.
