U.S. Set to Drag its Feet on Emissions Reduction?

The U.S. will fail to meet targets for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to be set out by G8 countries, according to a report by the BBC. Leaders of the G8 nations will set a target to reduce GHGs 80% by 2050, BBC says. The 80% reduction level has been identified as necessary if the world is to keep human-induced global warming to below 2C.
