Sirius Minerals plans new transport system at UK potash project

Potash development company Sirius Minerals announced today that it has proposed to replace a proposed mineral transport system (MTS) at its planned polyhalite potash project in the United Kingdom. The company says that, following a detailed engineering review, it has decided to replace its previously proposed pipeline for transporting polyhalite between the mine and the port with an underground conveyor-based system. This move will reduce construction disturbances by 70%. The new system will also lead to significant improvement to the project value...
