Regions :: Western Europe :: U.K. Rhodia Acetow Signs Wood-Technology License Agreement with Accsys10:17 AM MDT | July 3, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas Accsys (Windsor, U.K.) and Rhodia Acetow (Freiburg, Germany), a member of the Solvay group, say they have signed a license agreement for the production and sale of a high-performance modified wood based on Accsys's acetylation technology. The modified wood is commercialized under the brand name Accoya. The agreement is expected to be fully effective in the second half of 2013, and will provide Rhodia Acetow with the rights to sell Accoya in more than 40 European countries for a 15-year period.
