Reaxa Secures U.K. Grant for Pharma Catalyst

The U.K.’s Technology Strategy Board, a U.K. government agency, has awarded £718,000 ($920,000) to a consortium led by catalyst firm Reaxa (Manchester, U.K.) to commercialize CP-STAR, a clean, low cost catalyst for processing pharmaceuticals.   CP-STAR has been developed in collaboration between Reaxa and John Blacker, professor of chemistry at the University of Leeds (Leeds, U.K.).
