PetroChina Discusses Possible Investment in Ineos U.K. Petchem Complex; Ineos to Present New Business Plan Today

PetroChina is among several companies talking to Ineos about a possible investment in Ineos’s Grangemouth, U.K. refinery and petrochemical complex, according to a Reuters report today. Local politician Angus Macdonald, quoted in the report, says that an Ineos manager confirmed at a meeting with the local community this week that PetroChina is one of the companies negotiating to invest in the Grangemouth complex.
