Marks & Spencer (M&S; London), a leading retail company, has published a new set of commitments related to the safe use of chemicals in textile production, with the aim of eliminating all releases of hazardous chemicals throughout the company's entire clothing supply chain and products by 2020. The commitments were agreed on in conjunction with Greenpeace and in response to Greenpeace's Detox campaign.
