Lotte Chemical UK PET plant back online; force majeure remains in place

Lotte Chemical's (Seoul) polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plant at Wilton, UK, came back online today after a technical incident and torrential rains caused the unit to shut down last week, the company told CW today. The technical issue caused the company to declare force majeure on its PET deliveries on 2 September. The plant had come back online on 6 September, but torrential rains then flooded the site's utilities units, causing the plant to be taken off-line again.
