Johnson Matthey's environmental technologies division posts higher annual profits, lower sales

Johnson Matthey's (London) environmental technologies division posted a 7% increase in underlying operating profit for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2013, to £226 million on sales down 8%, to £3 billion. The division comprises Johnson Matthey's emission control technologies, process technologies--including chemical plant catalysts, refinery catalysts, and technology licensing--fuel cells, and battery technologies businesses.
