Improved Volumes Lift Yule Catto's Profits

 Yule Catto's full-year 2010 net income jumped 22%, to £36.6 million ($59.3 million), on sales up 21%, to £646 million. Operating profit rose 11%, to £55 million.  Profits from the polymers business rose 10%, to £56.7 million, on sales up 25%, to £552 million because of a 4% rise in volumes and improved margins, Yule Catto says.
