Fujifilm Diosynth opens cGMP facility in the UK, plans expansion

Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies has opened a new cGMP mammalian cell culture manufacturing facility at Billingham, United Kingdom.  The new facility is the first of its kind in the UK. It is purpose-built to utilize primarily single-use technologies for both upstream and downstream operations. Designed with input from regulatory authorities and key customers, it will offer high flexibility for meeting customers’ needs.
