The move will result in the loss of 138 jobs. The decision follows a strategic review that was announced last February, Elementis says. Eaglescliffe is Elementis’s only chrome chemical plant outside the U.S. The company’s other chrome chemical plants are at Corpus Christi, TX and Castle Hayne, NC.
