The committees for risk assessment (RAC) and socioeconomic (SEAC) of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) have adopted opinions on applications for authorization of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) under the European Union’s Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) regulation.
