Clariant Consolidates Sites as Part of Major Restructuring

Clariant has announced the third and final step in its previously discussed Global Asset Network Optimization (Gano) project. Gano was initiated in November 2009, following the appointment of CEO Hariolf Kottmann in October 2008. The restructuring will lead to the elimination of 100 jobs by 2013 at the latest, from a current total workforce of 16,700. The third stage of the Gano project involves closure of sites at Reinach, Switzerland; Nanterre, France; McHenry, IL; Delta, BC; and Sefakoy, Turkey.
