Cellulosic Ethanol Start-up Develops Process for 25 Different Feedstocks

TMO Renewables (Guildford, U.K.), a start-up biotech firm says it has developed a process capable of cost effectively converting at least 25 different biofeedstocks into ethanol, making it one of the most versatile processes established. TMO has sucessfully tested the feedstocks, including, corn stover, municipal waste, newspaper, and wheat straw, on its process during the past year at its Guildford demonstration facility.
